Display keeps flicking on and off

Hi,

I just got a raspberry Pi 4 Media centre kit, and have plugged it in to an AV reciever, then into a TV.

Every five seconds or so, the display goes black, or blue.

I have tried restarting many times, and have plugged/unplugged the device in to make sure it is seated correctly. I have also gone to the display config and tried several options on there.

The result is always the same.

Can someone please help me?

Hi Bruce,
Could you please include:

  • What AV receiver was used
  • Whether it works on a different display
  • if a different cable has been tested with
