I am a musician wanting to create a sculpture out of EL Wire which is then connected to a DMX interface so that it can be triggered by music. I emailed the Little Bird team and they responded with this:
We do not have any pre-made systems that will allow you to DMX control the EL wire but it can be done with an Arduino, some relays and a DMX shield. (linked below).

Some programming will be needed. We do not offer design services but the guys on the forums would be happy to offer suggestions if you get stuck.
Iām a total noob and have no idea about this kind of thing. Iām wondering if someone on this forum lives in Melbourne and might be able to help me in person? I can pay you for your time.
