Help understanding diagram

Hello,
I have the Elecrow Basic Kit for BBC Micro:bit. I am going crazy trying to work out this drawing
for my 10 year old.

It shows the breadboard, in 16:C a jumper wire is using the same hole as a resistor.
How is this possible as they don’t fit. I have tried using the holes around it but it does not work.
Could somebody please help.
Thank you
Steve

Hello Steve,

Assuming all the connections in the diagram is correct, and the resistor is meant to be connected to the jumper cable like so … You can move the jumper wire from 16C to 16B or even 16A.

This is because all rows on the breadboard is internally connected like in this diagram:

If there is anything else I can do to assist you, please don’t hesitate to get in contact.

Cheers,
Cherie
